A life shaped by the Holy Qur'an, guided by parents, teachers, education and creative growth.
Born on 1st August 2003 in Pakistan, into a deeply Quranic household. Both his father, Abdul Baseer, and his mother are respected Qurra — reciters of the Holy Qur'an. From his earliest days, the Qur'an was not an activity but an atmosphere: recited, heard, and lived every single day.
A deep, emotional attachment to recitation took root in childhood. The Qur'an became the rhythm of his daily life — listening, practising, and reciting continuously. Travelling or at home, sitting or standing, his tongue stayed moist with tilawat.
At just eight years old, he stepped onto the competition stage for the first time — and walked away with First Position.
At the age of ten, he claimed his first Gold Medal at a Regional Level competition in Lahore, Punjab — a contest spanning the entire province, organised under PASPIDA, Paigham TV and other Quranic platforms.
2013 — Gold Medal, First Position, Regional Punjab Competition (PASPIDA)
2014 — Gold Medal, First Position, Regional Punjab Competition (PASPIDA)
2015 — National Level (Paigham TV), First Position, awarded an Umrah Ticket. Regular recitations on Paigham TV followed — programs, Ramadan and Iftar transmissions.
2017 — First Position, Paigham TV Regional Level (province-wide, Punjab)
2018 — First Position, Cluster Level, then First at Regional Level (the final did not take place that year).
2019 — First at both Cluster & Regional levels, advancing to the National Final — where he earned Second Position & the Silver Medal.
Alongside these highlights, many more Regional and Cluster level competitions were won over the years. Alhamdulillah.
2017 — Hifz completed (memorisation of the entire Holy Qur'an), under Qari Ishtiaq Ahmad Saqi (hafizahullah).
2019 — Tajweed studied under Qari Idrees Al-Aasim (rahimahullah) — a student of Sheikh Muhammad Ayyub Al-Barmawi (rahimahullah), Imam of Masjid an-Nabawi.
2020 — Matriculation completed (Allied Schools).
2022 — Intermediate (ICS) completed — Punjab Group of Colleges.
2024 — Studied at Masjid an-Nabawi — Halaqat al-Muraja'ah (Qur'an revision circles), alongside Islamic calligraphy. Began with physical classes, now continuing online from Pakistan.
Around his Quranic calling, a set of creative and digital skills took shape — each one complementing his voice and recitation career.
2022 — First Position, National Level Competition at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), among colleges and universities across Pakistan.
Honour — Punjab College awarded a full education scholarship on the strength of his achievements and intelligence — celebrating him publicly and proudly recognising him as their student.
Today, Alhamdulillah, he serves as a Professional Qari, reciting at various venues and occasions — and as a Voice & Recitation Artist performing nasheeds, reciting in different Qira'at, rendering the styles of renowned reciters, and offering guest recitations at different gatherings.
Maqamat: Bayati, Hijaz, Saba, Rast, Nahawand, Kurd, Iraqi, Sika, and more.
This journey is dedicated to my parents and respected teachers, whose guidance, dedication, prayers, and continuous support shaped every achievement in my life. Every success I have achieved — and will achieve — is dedicated to them.
